I really enjoyed this book! The loved the uniqueness of every character, and eagerly anticipate their development. With a glimpse of each character's back story, there's enough history to keep this series going for a while. I can't wait until the next book to see how Jenn develops in her new role as the lead Hunter! Vampires, witches, werewolves, priests and voodoo queens..... can't get much more exciting than that!!
Thanks to Kara from Great Imaginations and Elspeth the Totally Awesome for alerting me to this.

So you're new to Booklikes, or you're not that adventurous, and you're stuck with one of the three basic themes.
You can upload wallpaper through customising your theme.
But hang on a minute! The wallpaper is repeating down the page! And it's half light and half dark and some of my grey text is getting lost in it! I CAN'T READ THE PAGE. It's all the wallpaper's fault!
Stress not, dear one! Elspeth's Ephemeral Musings alerted me on how to 'fix' your wallpaper so the text glides over it and the same picture stays:
{% if customize.colorTitle %}h1.header-title a { color: {{ customize.colorTitle }}; }{% endif %}
{% if customize.bg %}body { background: url("{{ customize.bg }}") 0 0 fixed; }{% endif %}
{{ customize.css }}
See where it says 'fixed', it's usually 'repeat'. Just change it to fixed and it will make your wallpaper stationary.
You have to do it individually for each page of your profile. Shelf, timeline etc

Go forth my lovelies, and customise your wallpaper!
It never takes me long to get caught up in the stories Rae writes. This one however, hooked me much earlier as it didn't start out like I'd expected. I think that's what I enjoy about all her books; they are so unique and unlike anything else out there. Rae is a one-of-a-kind author, and I'll read anything she writes.
The Summer of Me & You is a contemporary romance that contains not only a sweet romance, but an edgy darkness to it as well, and for me, that's what makes it stand out.
Kaleb and Kayleigh's relationship was troubled and perfect...exactly how most romances truly are. It was doomed yet fated and I loved it. The End
While I wait patiently for my measly 633 books to import from Goodreads (thank goodness I didn't use my Shelfari shelf which is over 6,000 books at the moment) I just wanted to take the time to say that I'm very excited to be a part of this new community. The help I've received here thus far has been outstanding. And, I'm enjoying the shelf/blog/timeline format.
I'll continue to get familiar with things while I wait, then make any adjustments necessary, but so far...I think I'm gonna like it here a lot! :)
